Domain NamesDomain Names

Choosing the right domain name and extension are both important decisions for you or your business.

You can choose any word or combination of words that are available to be registered for your domains. Some helpful tips when deciding are:

  • Domain names can be between 3 and 67 characters long.
  • You can use hyphens in domain names such as my-domain.co.uk - but you may want to consider how the domain will be used. For instance, if used for radio advertising it may be better to register mydomain.co.uk - or you could register both.
  • Upper and lower case letters do not matter - domain names are NOT case sensitive.
